Press Day - RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2017

I had a wonderful day at Hampton Court Flower Show this month - PRESS DAY visit courtesy of London Stone. Lots of Champagne, Pimms and Seafood on offer. Saw some wonderful, inspirational design, met some new people and caught up with lots from our wonderful industry.

Here we are after lunch

My favourite image taken on the day is of this cabbage, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder?!'

a visit after a rain shower - garden in Sevenoaks

I really ought to get out to all our gardens more often and take photos  - evolving, maturing and looking fab.

I visited this finished garden in Sevenoaks last week after a rain shower. We have entered it in a National Competition - wish us luck!

Gemma, Emily and Benita look after this one - our aftercare team.

and now we've just completed the front garden, awaiting the planting to mature and I'll be back to take more images, featuring our very popular log store/ Bug hotel and corten retaining walls and planters.

Design is in the Detail in our Sevenoaks Garden

This newly renovated property in Sevenoaks now has this wonderful garden combining materials that textually contrast.

http://greencubelandscapes.co.uk/portfolio/greencube-sevenoaks-detail.html

We have included quartz paddlestones for dry stone wall effect, hardwood ipe decking that is used both vertically and horizontally with a detailed wrapped effect around 2 built in benches, porcelain paving and large focal point statement pots.

I visited last week and celebrated the garden success with our clients, taking lots of images.

A huge thank you goes to our landscapers - Langdale Landscapes and electrician Pete Smitherman PS Electrics, great team effort to create this wonderful space. Myself and Gemma planted the garden and Gemma and her team (our aftercare greencube gardeners) looks after it on a monthly visit.

We planted this garden last year and it is already knitting together nicely.

Oast House Garden Completed

We are now nurturing our completed garden in Offham, Kent.

A wonderful Oast house and granary now with a great garden that works contextually with the building and lifts the property. It truly has transformed this property. We are very pleased and often hear from our clients their delight in their new green space.

A visit to Keukenhof and nursery visit in Boskoop

What a wonderful couple of days myself and good friend and fellow Garden Designer Catherine Clancy had in Amsterdam.

Full of colour, perfection and inspiration, Keukenhof at its 'peak'. Pure Bulb perfection. I took over 600 photos on my visit which is why it has taken me so long to choose some of my favourites to share on our blog on this bank holiday Monday!

A truly inspiring, magical place visited on the 21st April 2017.
